Before heading back to school, Brent and Cameron were asked about their experience as summer interns. After being asked why they had chosen J.C. Anderson, Cameron responded, “When I went to the career fair, I felt more welcomed with JCA.” Brent added that J.C. Anderson “had the most opportunity and offered the most experience in all three fields.”

Both Interns had the opportunity to work in the Elmhurst Headquarters as well as in the field. Brent told us his favorite part was, “working with the Project Managers. They always had things for me to do. They taught and interacted with me the most.”

Brent and Cameron will be heading back to Illinois State University to finish their senior year of college. When asked about their future, both said their goal was to graduate Illinois State with a degree in Construction Management and get a full-time job working in interiors.

“J.C. Anderson’s internship program provides Construction Management students differentiating exposure," says William Burfeind, VP of J.C. Anderson. "Specializing in interiors projects and corporate office solutions emphasizes working with people and teams—managing beyond the core discipline of construction. Our goal with internships is to begin grooming the next wave of talented project managers in the region."
