J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has completed two office build-outs totaling 56,000 square feet on behalf of Wipfli, one of the top 20 accounting and consulting firms in the United States.

Established in 1930 as The Clarence J. Wipfli & Company in Wausau, Wisconsin, today Wipfli consists of 2.300 associates and has 46 offices in the United States and two offices in India. Wipfli is also a member of Allinial Global, an accounting firm association of legally independent accounting and consulting firms with offices in North America and throughout the world through international members and partnerships. Since 2018, the rapidly growing firm has acquired Deerfield, Illinois-based Kessler Orlean Silver; Denver, Colorado-based Bauerle and Co. P.C.; Ukiah, California-based Price Waterman; South Portland, Maine-based Macpage LLC; Bedford, New Hampshire-based Howe, Riley & Howe; and Chicago, Illinois-based Patke & Associates.

J.C. Anderson was selected to complete a 23,000 square foot build-out to Wipfli’s offices at One North Wacker Drive in Chicago and a 33,000 square foot build-out at 100 Tri-State International in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Renovations to both spaces included creating a perfect ratio of private offices and an open office layout with team collaboration spaces and private phone rooms. Both of the new spaces have a bold, clean look including halo designed light fixtures in the reception and breakroom, along with specialty fixtures throughout the space that can be controlled by a tablet. Features of the new spaces include high-end fabric wrapped baffles, writable wall surfaces in all meeting rooms, solid surface millwork islands with waterfall edging as well as high-end millwork and the latest A/V conferencing technology available. The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Project Executive Joe Maguire, Project Manager Mike Ruffolo and Superintendents Brian Korth for the Chicago build and Bob Hickey in Lincolnshire. HGA provided the architectural services.

“Wipfli is a dynamic firm that has expanded tremendously in the Chicago area over the past few years,” said Ruffolo. “This project came together through deep dialog and attention to detail – it wasn’t just about getting it done; it was about getting it done right. We are pleased to have helped create these new spaces that are a perfect fit for the firm’s immediate and future business needs.”
