J.C. Anderson is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete renovations to the first floor of the Union League Club of Chicago located at 65 W. Jackson Boulevard in Chicago.

Founded in 1879, The Union League Club of Chicago is a prominent social club located in the Loop. Members of the club have been credited with playing a role in establishing many of the city’s major cultural organizations, including The Art Institute of Chicago, Orchestra Hall, the Auditorium Theater and the Field Museum.

J.C. Anderson has been selected to complete a build-out to the first floor of the club.

The construction, which is scheduled for completion in May, will include the addition of a coffee bar and casual lounge, which will double as an open, wi-fi-equipped workspace for members.

In addition, the club’s ground-level windows facing Jackson Street, which are currently blocked with exterior displays, will be opened for the first time in the club’s history.

The construction team for J.C. Anderson, Inc. is led by Project Executive Anthony Douglas, Assistant Project Manager Adam Scheitel and Superintendent Ryan Kingsmill. Chambers is providing the architectural services.
